Let's start with my first impressions. I think this is the most beautiful palette I have ever seen. But for Anastasia Beverly Hills what do you expect? It is stunning. With an amazing mixture of mattes and shimmers and the colour selection is suitable for both day and night looks. It's amazing.

The pros of this palette.  So I used this palette for the first time today, so I also know I am a bit eager for a review, but I honestly am in love. The pigments on these eyeshadows are beautiful, and from the picture above it really doesn't do it justice. They blend so evenly and the colour payoff is amazing. These eyeshadows are so buttery but again from Anastasia Beverly Hills I expect nothing less.

The cons of this palette. The only problem I have noticed is that in some of the darker shades there is some fallout. I used the colour 'LOVE LETTER' on my lower lashline (as pictured below) and there was some definite fallout. However, it is such a small price to pay for such a gorgeous palette. I will keep you updated if I find any other issues.

My final thoughts are that this is a must have palette for any girl or boy obsessed with makeup. Purely because of how pretty it is. Anastasia Beverly Hills have 100% pulled it out the bag again!!!!

Now for my exciting news!!! In honour of this new palette, I have started a YouTube channel!
I have wanted to do this for so long but have never picked up the camera and started recording. Today was the day!
As I mentioned this is my first video so please be nice, and maybe like and subscribe for more videos!
I want to thank you all for your support in advance!

I love self tanning. It makes me feel so healthy and glowing. When I'm lacking in self confidence, self tanning helps me perk up! So here's a few of my faves that give me that healthy glow.

This one is a newbie to my collection but it's a goodie. I love a darker tanning mousse for a night out, and this one is wonderful at making me as dark as possible without looking orange or noticeably tanned. Bondi Sands is lovely for a night out to make you look extra sexy.

Cocoa Brown is one of my natural tans. It's a light weight mousse that looks like you have hardly anything on, but in a good way. It's brilliant for an everyday tan that won't look too much but still give you that sunkissed look.

This mousse is for my ladies on a budget. I've been using this tan for years and I'm pretty sure the majority of the U.K have been aswell. I personally like St Moriz in medium as I find the dark too dark on my skin tone and can sometimes give me an orange tinge, but for the price of £3.99 you really can't go wrong with this.

If mousses are not for you, I love Fake Bake for liquid tanning. I love that it comes in a spray bottle for minimum mess. This is probably the best liquid tan I've used for a natural sunkissed look with zero oranginess.

Palmers gradual tanning cocoa butter is probably my favourite tanner to date. I love this stuff, and I use it daily. For the ultimate natural everyday tan, this tan is a must. It is so moisturising and smells of chocolate which is a major plus as I don't smell of fake tan. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Last but not least, a (grubby) tanning mitt. I've tried loads from drugstore to high end, and my ultimate favourite has got to be Primark own brand. Honestly for the price it applies the tan so evenly with absolutely no residue left on your palms. I always stock up on these when  I'm in Primark. A must have.

Let me know your favourite tans in the comments, I love trying new ones.

Eeeeek I know this is so late, but with end of year exams I just haven't had time for anything!! Oh well, as they say, better late than never. So let's jump straight into my May favourites.

So I tried this foundation a while ago and really didn't like it. I think maybe I had the wrong colour or I also think they might have changed the formula. But a little while ago I was in such a flap as I didn't have the correct shade for a client, I picked up L'Oreal True Match up again as I had heard so many good reviews on it I thought I'd give it another go. I haven't stopped wearing it all month....
It has such a gorgeous finish to it, I honestly feel airbrushed daily. I have recently got a job on a makeup counter and with the bright lights you can normally see ever lump and bump, but not with this! I have used it in line with a few other bits I am going to mention so with a good primer and moisturiser underneath, the coverage and finish is flawless! And at such a good price!

When I heard Benefit Gimme Brow, I didn't think it was going to be for me. I prefer a stronger brow as i am lacking in the brow department, so I thought this would do nothing for me. Turns out it is perfect for a natural brow as the pigment not only adheres to hair but also to skin, which means I can create my own brow. However, for me personally, I do like a more defined brow so I use this alongside my Anastasia Dipbrow. But if you just want to fill in the sparse hairs on your brow, this is the product for you!

I'm not really going to lie with this, I bought this purely because Kylie Jenner said she used this...
And I have no regrets! I love this Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser! For me, as I've mentioned, it is so had for me to find a good moisturiser for my dry skin, but this one is really good and I've been using it daily in my makeup routine. It is so lightweight and sinks into the skin perfectly - which is brilliant under makeup as it doesn't make the base slip and slide. Highly recommend, thanks Kylie!

Again, I had heard so many good things about L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer I thought I would pick it up. I had recently run out of my MAC Strobe Cream so was looking for a replacement, and honestly I think I actually prefer it. It is so light on the skin and really makes your foundation look luminous as it describes. I've been actually mixing this into my foundation and I'm loving my base makeup lately because of it!

Finally a bit of a fashion favourite. A good old gold hoop. I've been all over these lately especially on a night out. I think it just really glams up an outfit without it being too OTT. All in all, just loving a good hoop.

Let's start with my first impressions. I honestly thought, 'why on earth am I putting men's aftershave balm on my face before makeup?!'. I thought the concept was crazy! But hey I've heard so many good things about this product I may aswell give it a shot. When first applying it, it felt so strange rubbing a gel like substance on my face, especially as it smelled of something a man would use (obviously). As I have sensitive skin I was wary, but as the product stated sensitive on the package I thought it would be fine.

The pros of this product. I honestly love it. There I said it. I love it. I have seen such a difference in the way my makeup lasts and also love the way it makes my makeup apply. I used to have issues wth bronzer lasting all day on my cheeks as it would always look patchy by the end of the day - this product makes it last all day and even all night! It's soothing on the skin and I have as no problems with my sensitive skin which is a massive bonus! I think I picked this up at Savers (which I only THINK is a UK store) for £3.99 which is an absolute bargain in comparison to many other primers on the market! This bottle is actually empty and I've really missed it from my makeup routine so I'll be out purchasing another one as soon as possible.

The cons of this product. I hate when I can't think of a con for a product, but I really can't. The only thing I would say is the packaging. You only need the tiniest bit of product to cover the whole face and the packaging makes it hard to only dispense a little bit. A pump would be perfect for this packaging, so that no product is wasted. Other than that this is a fab product and I highly recommend!

For me, there is no specific time of year for moisture! Moisturiser by far is my must have beauty/skin care product. With having sensitive skin plus eczema, finding a good nourishing moisturiser is hard but I've managed to pinpoint some favourites to show you!

Firstly, let's just start off with my holy grail moisture product - Aveeno Lotion! I've already done a post including this so for my full opinion make sure to check out my 'Skin Care Routine: Eczema Edition'.

Aveeno Lotion - £12.69

The Body Shop is honestly one of my favourite brands when it comes to body butter and moisturisers. They all smell delicious and work absolute wonders for dry skin. This body butter soaks into the skin so well and leaves your skin feeling so smooth and smelling incredible! Personally, the mango scent is the best - it smells like yogurt and I have to tell myself not to eat it on a daily basis.

When I feel like I want to be a bit more sophisticated, I steer towards No7. My Nan used this on herself when I was growing up, so No7 holds a place in my heart. This intensive moisturiser is so luxurious, that it makes you feel so relaxed after using it. It contains shea butter which is amazing at really nourishing the skin and leaving it feeling like a baby's bottom.

Last but certainly not least - hands and feet! In my opinion, hands and feet are always the things to get neglected when in fact they do the most work. Soap and Glory are such a lovely brand and I love all their products, especially Hand Food and Heel Genius. Hand Food is so compact that I can just chuck it in my bag and touch up through the day. I use Heel Genius right before bed, after slathering it on with some cotton socks on top, it really does wonders for my little toes.

Here are my favourites, what are yours?

Let's start with my first impressions. Kiko for me is a new brand in which I don't have any previous knowledge off, so when I saw that it had opened around the UK I was beyond excited! Probably the most heard about product I had heard of was the Kiko pigment in 208 but being used as a highlighter. Firstly I can 100% see from a first look why people love this as a highlight, it's such a gorgeous colour especially if you want that JLo glow at a low cost!

The pros of this product. Honestly, the pigment of this pigment is amazing! From one swatch, the colour payoff is really amazing and I can completely see why people use this for a more intense highlight. Personally for my skin tone, I think this pigment looks much prettier as an eye shadow colour and looks amazing when wet as a more opaque lid colour. Probably the biggest pro of this product, however, has got to be the price point at a mere £8.90!! What an absolute bargain!!

The cons of this palette.  The biggest con I have found with this product is that quite frankly, it doesn't suit my skin tone as a highlight colour. For me personally, my favourite highlighter to this day is the Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm as it looks so beautiful on us fair ladies and gents! This pigment to me is just too bronze and is quite prominent on my skin. However, it does look beautiful as a lid colour. A small, but real con also is the shape of the product. The lumps and bumps in the pigment makes it hard to get an even amount of product on the brush and for me just creates unnecessary problems when applying my makeup.

My final thoughts are that this is a lovely product for the price, but for us fair ladies and gents is not the best highlighter. However, for you bronzed god's and goddesses this would look beautiful as a highlight! But don't panic if you are fair as this product really does make for a beautiful eyeshadow as the colour is truly lovely on the lid.

For me, no outfit is complete without nails. Personally I love acrylic nails and always lean towards nude colours. I was absolutely loving the mauve colour on my end fingers and truth be told wish I had gone for that all over. Regardless nails really do bring a look together even if they are just painted. If you are around the Cardiff area I defiantly recommend Creation Nails in Llantrisant.
