As a student, comfort is key - but I still want to look chic! By tieing a knot in an over-sized t-shirt instantly adds something different to the look. I love nudes, so pairing this pale pink over-sized Missguided top, works perfectly with a long brown coat. Teamed up with a pair of smart joggers and some trainers it is the perfect everyday casual look.

Lets start with my first impressions. If any of you follow my Instagram (bleachedbeautyy) you will all know that warm tones are my absolute FAVOURITE shades to use. When I opened this palette, apart from the delicious smell of chocolate, the first thing I noticed was how me this palette is - and especially packed with warm tone nudes.

The pros of this palette. From the first time I used this palette I was in love! The eye shadows are honestly the creamiest eye shadows I have ever tried. They blend so smoothly and seamlessly - they are perfect for transition shades and dramatic shades. I also found the colour selection was amazing, it is so easy to wear both day and night, probably one of the main reasons why I love it. This palette is honestly stunning and will definitely be taking it with me next time I travel!

The cons of this palette.  Honestly I really can't think of one. The swatches really do not do this palette justice - if you are around a Too Faced counter any time soon, I urge you not only to smell the shadows but to actually swatch them. The only thing I would say, there was a tiny bit of fallout with some of the darker colours, but to me that's not really an issue as when I do a smokey eye, I usually do my foundation after. Also, more of a tip - I used MAC Fix+ with the colour 'pink sugar' and it didn't react well, so probably best to use it dry to preserve the shadow.

My final thoughts are - in my opinion - this palette is a MUST HAVE, if you are looking for one good eyes shadow palette that you can wear day or night and want a different look every time, this is it. It is the warmest, creamiest, most long wearing pre-made palette I have probably ever used and I honestly have no complaints.

Band tee's are so easy to dress up, especially for every day casual looks! Paired with a good pair of skinny jeans and some trainers and you're good to go. I especially love this Missguided biker jacket - I really think that pop of colour really adds to the look, making it effortlessly chic.
I have also been lusting after Adidas Yeezy Boosts, however have never been able to get my hands on them. These Miss Pap dupes are perfect and I really love how they look with this outfit.

I'm a bit late on the band wagon with this but recently got my hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills cream contour palette in fair.
With that in mind I thought I'd give my opinion on this product and let you all know if I think its worth the hype.
So with that being said,

Lets begin....

*Swatch of the 3 contour colours: Fawn, Shadow & Mink

*Swatch of the 3 highlighting colours: Soft light, Lustre & Fair.

Lets start with my first impressions. Lets face it, this palette is beautiful. But for Anastasia Beverly Hills and at the price point of £39.99, I didn't expect anything less. At first glance I also loved how cool the contour colours were, especially for my pale skin and comparing it to their 'Light' contour palette.

The pros of this palette. My first time I used it I loved how cool the contours were, as I've said. The cooler tones, on my skin look a lot more natural, especially for everyday cream contouring. I also really liked the texture of these on swatch, they are really creamy and the lighter shades are really easily blended. Another this I liked about this palette is that it includes a shimmer colour in the highlights. I thought this was a really nice touch and looks lovely as a cream base for any powder highlight.

The cons of this palette. Honestly, in my opinion, I was really under enthused by this palette. I think maybe because I had heard such good reviews and had been waiting so long to try it that I had such high hopes. Personally, the contour colours are not as blendable as the highlighting colours and can come off as 'muddy' looking on the face if not properly blended. I did say in the pros that I liked the cooler tones and that it looked natural - which it does - but the blending process to make it look natural takes FOREVER!!! I also found that the highlighting shades creased and lay heavy under my eyes. I was so disappointed as it is such a luxury product and I love Anastasia Beverly Hills and brand. I mean who knows, maybe a different colour palette might suit me better and I got the wrong shades??

Overall, it is a lovely palette in the sense the colour selection is good and is versatile. However, for the price point I was very underwhelmed with it and probably wouldn't spend that much on a cream contour palette and just get different colour foundation sticks. Saying that, I will probably wear this now and again especially on a night out.

Hi ladies!

So I have teamed up with the sexy lingerie company Adore Me in coming up with my favourite looks for the winter. Personally winter trends are my favourite whether it a bold lip or a full coverage foundation, winter makeup is so glam.
I posted this look on Christmas day on my Instagram (bleachedbeautyy), but I explained how cranberry colours are one of my personal favourites for winter. Paired with a pinky-nude lip, it is so versatile for day and night. For all details of this look, make sure you head over to my Instagram.

From looking on the Adore Me website, with this makeup look I was especially inspired by the Roseanne set, as it matches perfectly with this look. In my opinion, winter clothes can be big and bulky, make yourself feel better with a pop of colour underneath! Underwear can definitely set the mood for the day ahead, and also with Valentines Day just around the corner it's a perfect excuse to feel beautiful.

Make sure you check them out and let me know your favourite piece from their website.

With the cold weather well and truly here, us eczema sufferers know that this is when our skin suffers. I've made a post of what I've found over the years has worked for me and hopefully will work for you!
Let's begin...

Being the makeup lover that I am, finding a makeup remover that doesn't dry out my skin has always been a bug bear of mine, until I found Garnier Micellar Water.

This has been an absolute God send in taking my makeup off before washing! It's so gentle, even on my eyes (which are also eczema prone). Recommend for those struggling with wipes and other makeup removers that claim to be for 'sensitive skin'. On a side note - I recently tried the Garnier Micellar Water wipes and really don't get along with them, only recommend the actual water.

After I've taken my makeup off with the Micellar water, I then wash my face to remove any excess makeup. For this I use the No7 beautiful skin cleansing balm.

For my skin, I like to use a balm to cleanse my skin instead of a wash or any harsher scrubs. This balm, I find, puts moisture back into my skin after washing and doesn't make my skin feel tight or dehydrated. In my opinion, No7 skincare products are highly underrated and I love their range for sensitive skin.

Possibly the most important part of my skin care routine is moisturiser.
For my face, I tend to reach for the richer creams especially in the colder months. At the moment I haven't found a holy grail facial moisturiser but I do have a few I like. The one I'm using at the moment is Avéne Hydrance Optimale.

I am enjoying this at the moment but feel like it doesn't completely sink into my skin. However, do recommend for those with sensitive skin. If you have any suggestions of facial moisturisers please comment below!

On that note, I have 100% found my holy grail body moisturiser and recommend it to anyone with dry or eczema prone skin!! I've tried everything from drug store moisturisers to prescribed ointments and the only thing that works for me is Aveeno lotion.

This moisturiser was recommended to my by a dermatologist and haven't looked back (I actually use this on my face too!) It is made from oats so is completely natural and works wonders on dry skin. Highly recommend.

Showering has always posed a problem with regards drying out my skin. A lot of shower gels that claim to be 'sensitive skin' contain a lot of chemicals that subsequently dry out the skin. Because of this I use medicated shower gel called Oilatum.

Granted it's not the most luxurious shower gel, but it does what it says on the tin, which includes moisturising my skin. This can also be bought in local chemists and supermarkets, and works really well.

There are also a few basic bits in my skincare routine that I recommend. Vaseline is one of them, not only can it be used on lips, as I have eczema around my eyes, Vaseline is so sensitive that it moisturises even around the eyes. Sudocrem is also a huge help, especially for sore flare ups in awkward areas. It heals and protects without irritation.

Hope this helps, please let me know your tips and tricks for eczema in the Winter I would love to know!!

2016 is officially here and I for one cannot believe how much this year has flown by (even though I do say that every year).
Seeing as it is a new year, one of my resolutions is to be consistent with blogging! Having university can make blogging difficult, but excuses aside I'm going to try my hardest to keep this resolution!
So I thought I'd kick off this year with some of my 2015 favourites.
I've got a few makeup bits, accessories and my all round holy grail products!

So lets begin...

My first makeup favourite is a newby and I can already tell it is a holy grail in my everyday makeup routine. Makeup Geek eyeshadows are without a doubt one of my favourite brands of eyeshadows. They are so highly pigmented and this colour, Peach Smoothie, is the perfect transition colour for me! It also helps that Makeup Geek, for us Brits, are now being sold on beautybay.com
I highly recommend!!

As you can tell this is a much loved product. Considering I'm fair skinned, highlighters are hard to find that actually show up on my skin. If any of you have the same trouble finding good highlighters - look no further! Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm is the honestly the best highlighter I've tried to date, so if any of you know a similar highlighter please comment below as I have an obsession....

I am a little bit late on the bandwagon with these but since having my extensions (see previous posts) I was recommended this. Honestly, the Tangle Teezer is so soft at brushing my hair. If you have thick hair or extensions I can't recommend more. So many of my friends use this, with both thick and thin hair and absolutely swear by it - and now I do too!

This hands down is my favourite scent of all time, Lancome - La Vie Est Belle. I am normally attracted to the fruity fragrances but I smelt this on my friend and I've never looked back. I am awful at explaining scents but I will leave a description down below. Honestly, this is my third bottle, which is a pretty pricey habit to have but definitely worth it. If you have the chance, give it a niff!

For all you eczema sufferers, if you haven't tried Aveeno already, make sure you do. This is my absolute holy grail moisturiser for my eczema prone skin. I am thinking of doing a skin care routine for those with ezcema, what do you think? But honestly it is so natural which is perfect for sensitive skin!

Last, but certainly not least is probably my favourite item of 2015.  My wonderful boyfriend bought me my very first Michael Kors watch for my birthday in September and I haven't stopped wearing it since. I love that it is a mixture of different metals which means it is so versatile and will go with pretty much any outfit. I think the classic face makes it look so chic and it is by far my favourite piece of jewellery to date.

Hope you all had a wonderful 2015, and I hope to see you a lot more in the new year!
