have been wearing clip in extensions for a while now, so I decided to bite the bullet and get bonded extensions.
Being a indecisive person I was very wary about getting them, and was so nervous about going to the consultation.
I know for some this isn't a big decision but for me this was a big step!
So I went along to the consultation with an open mind and I was put so at ease as soon as I stepped in.

The lady who put them in, Steph, was so reassuring and gave me a lot of options for my hair type and how I wanted them to look.
Steph showed me a few different hair extension types, and in the end I opted for Hair Rehab London hair with EasyLocks bonds to keep them in place. I also opted for a non glue method in order to preserve my hair a little more.
I booked the appointment that day to have them put in the week later.

So I went along a week later to have them done.
This is how they looked when she was applying them.
The process flew by, I was expecting to be there for hours but it was so quick.
Steph told me I have around 130 strands of hair in, and took her 2 hours to apply.

Personally I was more worried about how they would look straight, because that's where you can sometimes see if they look fake.
Steph being a hairdresser was fab and cut my natural hair into the extensions and made them look so natural!

They also looked beautiful curled! I am so happy with they final result, but will keep you all updated in how I manage them and how they look in time.

If you are in Wales especially in the Bridgend area, I highly recommend Steph. Follow her on Facebook, her name is 'Steph Williams Hair Extensions'.

Last week in the UK the weather took a bit of a turn for the worst. So I thought it was perfect to start preparing for Autumn looks.

I opted for a classic look, with a black high-neck jumper with 'mom' style jeans. However I loved the way these heels (which I am obsessed with) give that little bit of an extra edge! I absolutely love this look for both an everyday look or drinks with the girls.
I am also loving gold jewellery at the moment, and Primark have a fab selection at the moment and wont break the bank! If you also fancied adding something a little bit extra to an outfit, this New Look pom-pom key-ring looks adorable with any outfit (both day and night!)

Ps. I have recently cut my hair, how are we all feeling on the messy long-bob?
Jeans: Topshop
Necklace: Primark
Pom-Pom: New Look
So let's just cut to the chase, this lipgloss is BEAUTIFUL. But I mean from Chanel, what do you expect?

This lipgloss is from their new summer collection, and it is so pigmented that it looks like a high shine lipstick. The consistency is so creamy, although slightly sticky, but lasts all day with minimal touch up.

As to be expected, the packaging is so luxurious, making you feel proud to whip this out of your bag. At the price of £22, it is nice to own a classic Chanel colour lipgloss at a lower price than the bags! I can't say enough good things about this product.

Definatly a splurge for summer, but worth it!

For my boyfriend's birthday I took him to London for his first visit.

I love London and with such beautiful weather it really was a perfect weekend. We stayed in Covent Garden which is a stones throw away from everywhere we wanted to go (Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden Piazza).

The first day we went shopping on Oxford and Carnaby street. And obviously I spent way too much money! Then went for an amazing meal in the evening to a steak house! The second day we went to Covent Garden Piazza and watched the street acts and had the lunch in the picture above which was AMAZING! I also couldn't help myself from popping into Chanel and buying something. I bought the most amazing new lipgloss from their new summer range (which I will be doing a blogpost on soon because it is just to dreamy not too)

Overall it was such an amazing few days and I just wanted to share my adventures with you all!

Speak soon,
Love Sophie

A quick update/apology for why I have been MIA recently. Between exam stress and the actual exams I haven't had two minutes to myself to de-stress. I finally finished my exams last week so to celebrate, and relax, my boyfriend and I went on a retreat weekend to a beautiful cottage in Carmathen, West Wales.

The surroundings were beautiful, and it was so nice to relax in a hot tub looking up at the stars. Also the fact that there was 0 signal/wifi, although daunting, was so surprisingly nice! The walks around the countryside really helped clear my head of all university work, even though my walking gear wasn't the most stylish!

Anyway, just a quick post to explain where I've been, but I have so much planned for my blog this summer.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate this palette please?!
Now we have that over, LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS!!!
As you all know I am a self confessed Urban Decay Naked palette junkie, so when I seen that L'oreal had come out with a similar toned palette to the Naked 3 I ran out of the door to get it.
Now I know I might be late on the hype around these, as I have seen so many people talk about this product, but I wanted to give it a go for a while before I shared my opinions.

So here are my opinions...
Honestly, the swatches of these eye shadows really do not do them justice, these shadows are so pigmented on the lid and last all day.
The colour selection in these palettes are beautiful, and give you shadows for all different types of looks. I've worn this palette for both day and night looks, and I have honestly never had a problem creating a look. I have also used this palette on a darker skin tone and it honesty looked amazing on her skin, especially the more purple cool shades.

These shadows are so creamy and easy to blend, and I love the matte colours to define the crease, especially the 4th colour in for the left. This color in the palette is definitely my favourite and as already said, the swatch really doesn't do it justice. This color is honestly the perfect transition color for me and as much as I hate to say it, is better than most of the matte neutral colours in the Naked Palettes.

I really wish I had a con to say about this palette, but so far I really don't. They don't really give much fall out and for the price of £9.99, you can't really go wrong!

I honestly think this palette is such a good buy and think it looks amazing on so many different skin tones. If you're not looking to invest in a high end palette, or just want to test run the colours before taking the plunge, I would definitely recommend you have a look at these L'oreal nude palettes.

Also, if any of you have tried the neutrals version of this palette, I would love to hear what you think of it!

I really hope this helps,
lots of love,

I know it's a bit late but hope you all had a fabulous Easter holiday, and found something fun to do in the beautiful weather we had on bank holiday Monday.
As it was such a beautiful day in Wales on that particular Monday, my boyfriend and I decided to take a walk down to my local beach which is Porthcawl.
And of course you can't go to the beach and not get an ice cream!

This post isn't so much a fashion post (because I just chucked on a baggy jumper for the beach) but just a quick post sharing my adventures.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and stuffed your faces with all the chocolate!
Lots of love,
Soph xxx
